With the rationalisation of production we have achieved our goal, we have formed specialised mills that produce flour intended for various purposes: high quality white flour, which is intended for household use as well as in production of special pastries, meal for pasta, flour for producing starch and modifications of starch, flour as a raw material for the needs of the bakery and confectionery industries as well as flour adapted for use by other specific customers.
The newest project, but not the last, is the adaptation of existing equipment, as well as the purchase of new equipment in one of the mills, with the goal of processing corn into meal for beer and consumable meal as well as production of corn flour for household use.
Our goal is to, along with the corn programme, widen the production palette with the introduction of integral flours and grits from: buckwheat, rye, barley and wheat. Milling is conducted in the traditional way on a milling stone and the product produced is rich in cellulose fibres, proteins, B complex vitamins and other minerals. It has been proven that food prepared from integral flour is beneficial for the digestive system, but also for general health conditions.
The guaranteed uniform quality has also brought us special acknowledgement: the right to use the seal of “The Best of Vojvodina”.
The classification of flour according to types if performed based on standards that measure ash content (meaning mineral materials). Specific Purpose Flour Type T-400 contains up to 0.45% ash, while the ash content in wheat flour type T-500 can be up to 0.55%. The ash content influences the colour of the flour and the way in which it is sifted during technological processing influences the granulation, meaning the fineness of the flour.
Fidelinka’s milling programme in the area of flour covers:
Besides the standard products, within Fidelinka’s milling assortment are also wheat grits, flour –850, water milled flour, meal for pasta, and specific purpose flour for confectionery products (cookie flour).
